Voting opens today for the AMP People's Choice Scholarship, and I'm in the running! I'd love to put the prize towards studying and interning in England next year, so I can learn plenty of new stuff about preserving local history and presenting it to the public. Then, once I'm back home, I can pass all my new skills on to the GLAM (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, Museums) sector in Thames, and beyond.
If you're on Facebook, you can vote by searching for me here.
(I haven't figured out how to vote if you're not on Facebook yet, but I'm sure there's a button for it somewhere).
If you're a bit more discerning with your vote and want to know more about all this 'studying and interning,' here's a link to the course I'm looking at in Lincoln, England.
